What is an original movie poster?
The original movie poster was posted outside the movie theater promoting the movie. These posters were then sent back to the distibution companies or were destroyed and because of this there are only a limited number of posters left, thereby creating the collectors value. I do not collect/sell new prints.

When was the the first Swedish movie poster created?
The first film poster made in Sweden was for showing of films by Lumière at the big art and crafts exhibition in Stockholm in 1897. The poster was made by Carl August Olausson and was an adaptation from the poster created for the first film showing in Paris.

Either you send me an email with the posters and the PosterIDs, or you can just send an inquiry from the web shop for each of the posters you are interested in buying, and since I will see that the inquirys come from the same person I will calculate the cumulated cost together with he lower packaging and shipping cost.

If the poster was signed it is of course easier to decide the poster artist. If there is no signature it might be so that the artist him or her self didn't create the end product, the lithography, and in that case it can be a bit more tricky to figure out the original artist. In either case, send me an email with a picture (in .jpg or .gif format) and I will do my best to help you.

The poster condition is described next to each poster. If you have questions regarding a poster, please ask for more information/photos. I am happy to provide as much information as possible. I would like to avoid returns by providing you the most accurate information possible.

Why are there fold marks on many posters?
Posters were previously delivered folded to the movie theaters. This doesn't necessarily bring down the collectors value since this is something that goes for the majority of the posters from this time.
